With the fervor of the 2008 U.S. election season, ACUI helped campuses address the related rise in free speech activity, hosting on-campus political events and assemblies, and trends in students’ civic engagement. However, activity on campus related to political and social issues does not need to end just because the election is over, and the topics covered in this series remain relevant for professional practice.
