ACUI Corporate Partnerships Development Team Member 

Function: 
Fosters and builds relationships with current, new, and previous corporate partners throughout the year including at annual and regional conferences, premier programs and services, and the ACUI Expo.

Corporate Partnerships Development Team Leader

Central Office staff liaison:
Director of Corporate Partnerships & Events

Term: Corporate Partnerships Development Team members will serve a two-year term beginning June 1. At the end of the term, the volunteer may re-apply for an additional term.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with volunteers and Central Office staff to strategically enhance the corporate partner experience by:
    • Expanding the scope of participation in ACUI programs.
    • Identifying creative ways that corporate participants can support the initiatives of ACUI at the regional and international level.
    • Contributing new ideas, programs and initiatives to further the ACUI Expo and Associate Member value.
  • Assist the Regional Corporate Partnership Coordinators with regional corporate opportunities, as needed.
  • Identify new potential corporate participants and assist in efforts to retain existing corporate partners. 
  • Educate institutional members about the value associate members bring to ACUI by supporting the relationships between ACUI institutional members and associate members.
  • Assist with hosting the ACUI Expo at the annual and regional conferences, participating in socials, focus groups, and recognition of participation with the ACUI Expo participants.
  • Collaborate with other team members to regularly contact ACUI associate members.
  • Ensure that corporate satisfaction is at the absolute highest levels possible.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding of the role of corporate partners in the college union and student activities profession
  • Support for ACUI, the advancement of the profession, and diversity in the profession
  • Full-time employment at a member institution; solid institutional support and job stability

Selection Process

Consistent with the selection process for ACUI volunteer positions, a screening committee of volunteers and the staff liaison will review applications, interview qualified candidates, and make a recommendation for appointment.
