2012 CUPSI Hotel Update

Due to a significant number of disruptive incidents at the Hilton Doubletree from within the CUPSI room block and by members of our group in open areas of the hotel, all rooms must be vacated by Noon on Friday, April 20, regardless of whether individuals within your room were involved in the incidents.

We acknowledge the frustration and confusion that you might experience with this news, as we know that many members of our group engaged in responsible behavior at the hotel. However, it is a consequence of our collective group behavior, and we ask that all participants remain respectful and calm with the hotel staff through this process. Guests will only be responsible for the costs associated with arrival thru check out today; work out any needs for remaining room nights directly with the front desk staff.

Below you will find a list of other hotels in the area. All arrangements for both lodging and transportation for the duration of the 2012 CUPSI are the responsibility of the participants.

Events at the University of La Verne will continue as planned, but all CUPSI participants are invited to attend a 3 p.m. meeting in the Campus Center, Ludwick Ballroom to discuss these changes.
