Function:
Coordinates with Regional Leadership Team members to create, update, and maintain all regional communication to include the latest information and news for the region.

Responsible to:
Regional Director

Central Office staff liaison:
Marketing Communications Manager

Position-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Establish a timeline to collect information, publish, and distribute a monthly regional communication, in collaboration with the Regional Leadership Team and/or other regional volunteers.
  • Edit and distribute regional communications in a timely manner via a variety of channels, including email, website, and social media.
  • Accept and authorize all communications sent to members of the region through the Central Office communication systems.
  • Promote and report on the regional conference, annual conference, student programs, and other Association programs and services in each regional communication.
  • Work closely with the business manager to prepare a budget for regional communication efforts.
  • Promote and report on the regional conference, annual conference, student programs, and other Association programs and services in each regional communication.
  • Encourage members to write articles about professional activities or information for The Bulletin or other ACUI publications.
  • Serve as a resource person for the “how to” of publicizing programs and events.
  • Work with the regional conference committee to oversee the planning of all communication pieces associated with the regional conference.
  • Follow all procedures and guidelines for publication set forth in the ACUI Branding Guide.
  • Work closely with the web and social media coordinator on regional communication plans.
