Getting to the Conference

  • Driving – Please leave enough time for your trip. Arriving on Thursday afternoon or evening may put you in our famous rush hour traffic. Please take your time and plan for some congestion. As of today, there are no road closures that should affect anyone traveling by car so use Google Maps or similar tools to plan your route.
  • Train – Nearly all trains stop at 30th Street Station. From 30th Street, the best bet is either a cab or subway. There is a cab stand at the station, and getting to Center City takes about 20 minutes, and should cost about $15. The subway also runs from 30th St. into downtown. The best option is to take the Market-Frankford Line towards Center City and get off at City Hall and either walk to the hotel from there (five blocks south on Broad St.) or transfer to the Broad Street Line (free transfer) and head south one stop to Walnut-Locust. The hotel is at the corner of Broad and Locust just above the station.
  • Air – The best way to get from the airport to Center City is by train.  SEPTA has a dedicated line from the airport into town. The closest train stop is Jefferson Station and then either cab or walk a total of eight blocks to the hotel.
