The Region VI Silent Auction will help fund scholarships for students to attend I-LEAD® and new professionals to attend IPDS. Join us in contributing to educate the next generation of student union professionals by dropping off your Silent Auction item(s) at registration. Bidding will take place online through Bidding for Good. The link to view the online auction is and Silent Auction items will be displayed on Saturday in the Indiana Memorial Union Solarium. iPads will be available for those who do not have a portable electronic device. WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 22, 8 a.m.–7 p.m.

To DONATE an item to the Region VI Silent Auction, go to and click on DONATE ITEMS under ‘Auction Links’ on right sidebar. Please proceed to register the donated item(s) individually and drop off the item(s) at the conference check-in table.

To REGISTER TO BID on a Region VI Silent Auction item, go to and click on ‘Register to Bid’ at the top of the page. Please complete the bidder registration information and click ‘Register’.

Once you have registered to bid, go to the Silent Auction homepage and click ‘View All Items’ at the center of the page to make your bids and support the Education and Research Fund!

Online bidding will begin on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 8 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Region VI is excited to host the Regional Conference Trivia Tournament to support the Education and Research Fund. TjohnE is presenting this event with a 1st place prize of $300. All registration fees go to the Education and Research Fund to help fund scholarships for students to attend I-LEAD® and new professionals to attend IPDS.

WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 22, 9:30 p.m.

WHERE: IMU Market Common Area

HOW: Sign your team up for the tournament through your online conference registration or on-site at the Conference Check-In Table. Registration is $15 per team.

If you are in need of ideas, we have brainstormed a few for you: 

Collaborative Baskets

Best of “State” Basket: Collaborate with your neighbors as you put together a package of items that represents your state. This could include famous foods, drinks, or sporting good items that represent the state’s very best!

Best of “City” Basket: Bring out the taste of the big city as you and your team hand-select local items to tell your city’s story.

“Favorite Things” Basket: Celebrate your quirkiness as each member of your team contributes a favorite item.

“Conference Rivals” Basket: Come together for a great cause by offering a conference rival basket that represents the Big Ten, MAC, Atlantic 10, Big East, Summit League, and more.

Individual Ideas

Wake Me Up: Share your love of coffee or tea as you select a small item that may include your favorite mug with university flair and your favorite grounds. 

Drop Some Knowledge: Allow others to bid on something to get their creative juices flowing. Select a few of your favorite leadership books that can inspire others!

Geek Out: Let your inner-geek emerge as you select a season of your favorite TV show, graphic novel, comics, or toy.

Sports Fandom: Celebrate your team as you bring a shirt, hoodie, or other novelty item that allows other fans to bid.   

Real Life Adventures: In the age of streaming media, help others break out into the real world with donating movie tickets, sporting events, gift cards for restaurants, and more!

Be True to Your School: Find something unique from your institution to help auction off just in time for winter! This could be a warm sweatshirt, beautiful scarves, or hat just to name a few.
