The ACUI Core Competencies and You

We hear about core competencies, and we talk about them at conferences. But what do we know about the core competencies, and do we fully implement them into our daily work?

Did you realize that each core competency has skill sets associated with it that go into more specific professional knowledge base? Did you know that the international Education Council is developing modules you can use at regional conferences and other campus training events?

How do you use the core competencies at your school? Would you like to see a regular weekly chat via social media moderated by someone within ACUI focusing on one of the various skill sets that correspond to a core competency?

We want to hear from you. How do you want to become more familiar with the 11 core competencies?

ACUI is all about sharing. With more of our incoming students saying word-of-mouth is social media, should we begin to embrace it more though our education?
