ACUI Regional Audit Progressing

Over the past six months, you have likely heard about the ACUI regional audit. A team of current and former regional directors is working together as a task force to help the Association answer the question: What is the most effective and efficient way to deliver regional programs and services to the Association’s membership?

The group came together in October at the ACUI Central Office in Bloomington, Ind. The nine-member task force met with Mark Levin, an association and nonprofit consultant, who guided the team through a series of discussions to plan the work of the regional audit, which is to be completed in the next 13 months.

During the past two months, the team coordinated SWOT analysis sessions at each of the regional conferences, during two online town hall meetings, and with several component groups of the Association’s Leadership Team. These were the first of several opportunities for member input as the task force works to answer the charge from the Board of Trustees.

The task force will share regular updates throughout the process in The Bulletin, The Commons, and other communications to the membership. If you have any feedback or ideas to share, please contact either of the task force co-chairs: Jeremy Schenk, Missouri State University, jeremymschenk@missouristate.edu; or Brenda Evans, University of Massachusetts–Lowell, brenda_evans@uml.edu.
