Open Volunteer Positions

The following positions are currently open:

International Student Programs Team Chair

This position is mainly responsible for further strategic development of all of ACUI’s student programs. This person will also work with all of the student program team leaders to ensure growth and to make sure the programs align with the mission and strategic plan of the Association. The deadline for applications is Sept. 30 for the 2013–15 term.

I-LEAD® Program Team Leader

The team leader is responsible to help design, direct, and coordinate the I-LEAD® program with Central Office support. This position also helps with curriculum review and the recruitment and selection of facilitators. The deadline for applications is Sept. 30 for the 2013 and 2014 institutes.

Clay Targets Program Team Leader

A new position has been created to work with the clay targets program. Applications will be accepted before Sept. 30 or until the position is filled. The full job description can be found online.

Regional Leadership Team Positions

For the first time, all regions are working to follow a uniform process to promote and select members of the regional leadership teams. A complete list of available positions can be viewed online at The online application and deadlines are also available.

These program teams are currently seeking members:

  • Volunteer Development Team: Assist with recruiting, recognizing, and rewarding the Association’s volunteers
  • Education and Research Fund Program Team: Help create a culture of giving within ACUI
  • Corporate Partner Development Team: Create meaningful relationships between institutional and associate members

ACUI also offers ongoing opportunities on the international level:

  • Bulletin contributor: Write an article on your area of expertise or consider submitting your union or a colleague to be highlighted.
  • Commons contributor: Share campus news and professional perspectives on ACUI’s online hub for college union and student activities.
  • Researchers: Conduct a needed research project to advance the knowledge base of the Association.
