I am responsible for the well-being of the University of Connecticut Student Union. We want this to be a welcoming, friendly, and clean environment for our students, staff, and guests.

That I am authentic and will tell you that it is what it is.

What’s one innovation or project of which you’re proud to have helped implement?

The renovation and construction of the Student Union is the culmination of many innovations in which I have been able to be an active participant.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned while working in the profession? 

Listen and then, after hearing all of the facts, respond thoughtfully.

What is one phrase to live by or bit of advice you might have for future generations of union professionals?

Put students first!
