Q. What is your primary responsibility?
A. My primary responsibility is to plan, manage, and execute events hosted by the University Student Union, including concerts, lectures, late-night programs, sport and spirit events, and other special events.

Q. What would your staff, colleagues, or students say about you?
A. I think that they would say I am very passionate about what I do and that it shows in my drive and continuous commitment to take our programs to a new level.

Q. What’s one innovation or project of which you’re proud to have helped implement?
A. In 2009, we hosted India.Arie in an evening concert called “Underneath the Stars” on our main quad. The event was a huge success, and I hope we can continue it!

Q. What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned while working in the profession?
A. The importance of being politically savvy.

Q. What is one phrase to live by or bit of advice you might have for future generations of union professionals?
A. “No day but today” — “RENT”

Q. Is there anything else you would like ACUI members to know about you?
A. I have been a soccer referee for more than 12 years and love soccer. I equally love Madonna and Lady Gaga.
