Nancy Kujak-FordBusiness as Usual During Contruction
Nancy Kujak-Ford, director of the Campus Events Services Office at the Wisconsin Union, will share how the union has continued to operate during renovation and how they retooled procedures to accommodate the campus. Kujak-Ford received her bachelor’s at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She started working at the Wisconsin Union as a student, and has moved from the dining area to building manager to event planner.



Paul BroadheadCreating a Production and Custodial Model
Paul Broadhead, assistant director of facilities for the Wisconsin Union, will share how the Wisconsin Union has restructured its staffing model to provide better customer service and support for events. Broadhead’s background is in college student unions, event facilitation, fiscal and business oversight, staff development, strategic planning, and managing large capital construction projects. In his current role, Broadhead is responsible for all aspects of the facilities, events, and hotel operation of the Wisconsin Union. He has a passion for large events and was fortunate to be involved in various phases of planning, construction, commissioning, and operating of 11 new construction or major renovation venues around the United States for NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and NCAA sporting events and venues that house theatrical events, museums, and student unions. He has an undergraduate degree in music from Valparaiso University and master’s in business from the University of Notre Dame.
