Resources regarding student organization advisor training was a stated “area of need” at the Student Organization Advisors Community of Practice meeting during the 2011 annual conference in Chicago. Training these volunteer advisors who have such a critical role in building and maintaining our student organizations is a challenge for most professionals, and at the same time, imperative. In this presentation, best practices are reviewed from two presenters from different campuses.
