Changing the culture on any campus is hard, especially when you have a broadly defined topic like sustainability. Over the past six years at the University of Rochester, students, staff, and faculty have been working hard to come to agreements on making positive changes toward sustainability. In this presentation, participants will find out ideas for small initiatives that work immediately, large overarching projects that take time to develop, and other, more moderately sized steps that can be taken to unite and bring visibility to sustainability on campus. Learn about the key roles played by different constituents in this process, as well as ideas of strategies for handling the changes.
