Plane
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is 10 miles northeast from the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.

Train
Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) provides train service via the R1 high-speed rail line, which connects with the airport. The rail stations are located on the ground level of PHL between each terminal’s baggage claim area and ticketing counter. Amtrak Acela and commuter trains arrive at historic 30th Street Station throughout the day. Philadelphia is only 1 hour, 20 minutes from New York City and 1 hour, 45 minutes from Washington, D.C., via Acela Express.

SEPTA’s airport line leaves at 30-minute intervals, and a one-way fare is $8. The fare is paid to the conductors on board the train. Tell the conductor your final destination when purchasing tickets on-board. All stations on the Airport Line are wheelchair accessible.

Base cash fare for the SEPTA bus, trolley, and subway system is $2.25, and ticket machines do not take debit/credit cards. Tokens can be purchased for $3.60 for a two-pack. Additional information for SEPTA is available at www.septa.org.

Ground Transportation
Shuttles and limousines are available for individual or group transportation. Taxis are dispatched 24 hours a day and are available outside the terminal baggage claim area. The cost of a taxi to the hotel from the airport is a flat rate of $28.50 (plus gratuity). There are more than 1,600 licensed and trained cabs in Philadelphia. Uber is also available.
