Job Description - Personnel Office Assistant

Category: Student employee

Responsibilities: Review of timesheets, data entry, personnel appointment papers, and other personnel functions. Involved in student employee development programming. Involved in student employee recognition initiatives. Student employee training programs.

Special qualifications: Good communication skills; Knowledge of university and departmental employment procedures and basic knowledge of federal wage and hour guidelines; Ability to work under deadlines and have a keen eye for details and follow through of assignments

Education: Candidates must be an undergraduate degree-seeking student in good academic standing.
