Job Description - Pub Manager

Category: Student employee

Responsibilities: Perform regular bartending duties. Ensure daily operational activities are performed. Conduct daily inventory procedures and stock count. Oversee weekly scheduling. Prepare bar stock and grocery orders. Ensure all liquor board, college, and bar policies all followed at all times. Ensure all staff are properly trained. Participate as a member of the staff hiring committee. Ensure that all facility preparation and clean-up is conducted routinely. Oversee distribution of promotional materials including but not limited to posters and e-mail. Oversee equipment rentals. Prepare weekly beer and liquor orders.

Special qualifications: Strong leadership skills; Enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards networking; Demonstrated oral and written communication skills; Interest in small business management and finances; Ability to motivate self, staff, and assistant managers, and work in groups; Extensive time management and organizational skills; Ability to develop projects through all stage of development and implementation; Must be able to work days, evenings/nights, and weekends.
