Technology Coordinator

Responsibilities: Under direction of the computing and communications director, provides direct support to the computer hardware and software community including retail POS registers. Performs peripheral installations, software application services, and other affiliated micro computer support. Hires, schedules, trains, evaluates, and counsels staff in all activities. Performs special assignments and assists as needed in other areas of the department. 

Special qualifications: Must understand Windows environments. Experience must demonstrate effective handling of a variety of priorities and timelines; attention to detail and accuracy in performing work; effective communication with diverse groups/individuals; effective customer service skills.  Knowledge of Mac workstations is a plus.

Experience: Requires at least one year of experience in a computer hardware and software support position that includes responsibilities for installing, trouble shooting, and maintaining a micro computer network along with peripherals. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree required or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
